We have a break at Lutnes hydroelectric power station on the Trysil river, near the Swedish border. Then we cross the border and continue through The Transtrand Mountains and Sälen to the town of Mora on the shores of Lake Siljan.
The border is not in any way marked - but when the names of the villages begin to contain ä and ö, we know that we are in Sweden. - Until 1967 the border was marked with some peculiar crossings - the motorists had to change side and drive on the left in Sweden.
