The next keynote speaker was Jeff Huntington, as a a stand-in for Jacqueline McGlade, who got stuck in New York. In Climate change and the policy challenges he put emphasis on the uncertainty in predicting the global warming as a function of CO2 content: There is now only 50% chance for 450 ppm resulting in a 2° temperature rise, it might become worse. And he was rather sceptical of geoengineering.
