Places in beautiful Cornwall

Holiday memories through 30+ years

Introduction. I experienced the wonderful Cornish landscapes for the first time on a hiking trip at Easter 1977. Later this year my friends Chris and Barbara Timms moved to Cornwall, and since then I have enjoyed visiting them a number of times, and we have taken a lot of wonderful excursions together around Cornwall.
When completed, this section of my website will contain a collection of photographs and memories from all these visits, showing both the rugged and the gentle nature of Cornwall, it's picturesque towns and villages, and also the interesting relics from a more industrialized past.

St Neot, Cornwall
Latest visit in Cornwall
Chris and Barbara now live in this charming village on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The photos are taken in St Neot and its vicinity in April 2008, with a few flashbacks to the 1970s. During our stay in St Neot we went on a number of excursions around Cornwall to both beautiful and interesting places, including seaports, parks, mining districts and historical and architectural sites.
