This album contains pictures from the wild and spectacular coast of North Cornwall as covered by this map. The photos from the stretch from Bude to Tintagel were taken on a hike in April 1977, when I walked with a group of hikers along the Cornwall Coast Path (and then across Bodmin Moor, see this album). The second stretch from Trebarwidth to Pentire Point is covered by photos taken on excursions during a holiday in the winter 1986-87. |

In 1977 we were 12 Danish hikers: 11 travelled from Denmark by ferry and train, and I came up from Sussex, where I lived at that time. We met in the youth hostel in Exeter on 2 April, and the next day we went by bus to Bude where we began our hike. Along the coast we spent the nights in B&Bs in Widemouth bay, Crackington Haven and Boscastle. |
